Hand picked and native yeast fermented and aged 16 months in neutral French oak barrels with minimal intervention (meaning without fining or filtration).
Grown mere miles from the Pacific Ocean, the vineyard is influenced by its cool ocean breezes and oceanic sandy soil. Duvarita Vineyard is well suited from growing Pinot Noir. Our 2020 Pinot Noir from Duvarita shows off the site with notes of dried rose hips, bing cherry, dried strawberries, cola and herbs.

93 Points, Wine Enthusiast, December 1, 2023 "This wine wears herbaceousness like a cape, offering incense, sagebrush, thyme, and pencil-shaving aromas onthe the earth-driven nose. The palate picks up a roasted red-fruit quality. Bay leaf and incense flavors recall the chaparral that surrounds this wind-swept vineyard." Matt Kettman
