As many of you know, the vineyards I work with are so important to me- I love working with this small vineyard and fell in love with the young vines' expression of the Cabernet Franc. This expressive wine is layered with aromatics of cedar, plum, cacao and black cherries with flavors of violet, clean linen, earth, and just a hint of herbaceousness. The finish on this wine is elongated with savory yet chalky flavors. I recommend serving this wine alongside any pork dishes or even sausage-stuffed mushrooms, and is perfect for fall chilly evenings by the fire!
